Fairies

Morning,

What some lovely weather we are having, just hope it lasts over the bank holiday weekend. Chris has been out eagerly digging the garden so we can start putting this years seeds in, i say we but i mean I'll stand & point whist Chris does the work ;-)
On to today's card this card is for the Lili's Little Fairies challenge - Inspirational photo which is below. I have used the Lili of the Valley Fairies on Tip Toe stamp & coloured with Pro Markers, around the outside i have used the Card-io Oriental blossom majestic peg stamps & i think it has framed the stamp quite well.

Happy Monday to all,

After a busy weekend of sadly catching up on housework & the dreaded ironing (haven't done any since my op, oopps lol) I did manage to to have a little play with my new stamps from Card-io. I saw these brilliant stamps at the Hobbycrafts show at the NEC & thought what a fab i idea for some quick & brilliant cards. I bought a few little bits at the show & after a bit of playing with them i decided to order a load more & below are a few examples of what has come out so far.
These are completely different from what i usually do but i do think they are quite good & effective (links to site at the bottom of the post.)

Wellington

Hello,

Its another sunny afternoon here, long may it last. Todays card is something a bit different for me as it's a Man card, i admit i'm not overly good at Man cards as you can't just add a flower or a bit of bling to make it look good.
This card has been made using a Wellington the Bear decoupage set & a couple of different papers from my 'what can i do with it' pile. The setiments came with the set & thats about it really, nice & simple.

Queen for a Day

Hello Again,

It's a lovely sunny day here in Wiltshire which makes a change, fingers crossed it stays nice.
Today's card seems to have turned out looking like a Valentines Card (not intentionally) but i think it could be used for a Girlfriends Birthday or if the man in your life decides her wants to buy you a card.
The image is from Krista Smith at Saturated Canary & She is called 'Queen of Hearts', loving her digi's at the moment. The paper is from the Me to You Valentines pad that i have & the little sentiment is Lili of the Valley.

Afternoon all,

Today's card is a birthday card that I made for my friend Karen. The image is from Lili of the Valley's sketch pad 2 Jack, Patch & Puss. These are pre-printed pads just add colour & you're well away. The paper is also Lili of the Valley it's from their paper pad called Perfect Pair, the stamp is from their grunge collection of stamps.

Lili's Little Fairies - Seeing Double

Mums Bday

Hello All,

Well due to me having an operation a few weeks ago i haven't been able to do any crafting until this week as sitting at a table wasn't possible, thankfully all went well & I'm recovering nicely. I was beginning to climb the walls after a week of not being able to make anything and i think i must have read every card making magazine avaliable cover to cover. I did start recording all my fav shows about 5 weeks before the op so i had lots to watch whilst convalessing infront of the TV.
Right on to this weeks first card, I made this card for my Mums 60th Birthday which is today 'Happy Birthday Mum ;-)' the image is from Lili of the Valley & is called Surprise, this is one of their new release stamps & is a brilliant image to colour. The paper is also Lili of the Valley & is from their Bonnets & Bowties pad. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
