Good Afternoon,

As it was Fathers Day yesterday I thought I would share the card that my Hubby gave to his dad for Fathers Day.
More or less everything has come from Lili of the Valley, the image is from their Vintage Boys art pad the papers are from their Father Knows Best pad and the sentiment is from the Happy circular Sentiments set.

I have added some black & white twine & some ribbon. All the edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool & tea dye distressed ink.

Fathers Day at Charisma

Wow where is this year going??? It is challenge time again at Charisma Cardz & the theme is 'Fathers Day' I have used a fab pre coloured image from Lili of the Valley, they are great to have around when you need to make a quick card. 

The Papers are also Lili of the valley as well as the sentiment.

Hi I am Wendy Burns I live in Nottingham UK with my husband and two children who have been the inspiration behind the characters, in particular my daughter who has kept me up-to-date with blogging and trends. I work predominantly within the textile children’s wear market, fashion and interiors.

I trained as a textile designer and although my work is digital based, I love to retain that hand drawn /sewn feel which I hope comes across in my artwork.

Gone Fishing

Morning,

Well i've had some fun this morning had to come out of work to take my Mum to A&E as she hurt her wrist on holiday & has only just decided to have it looked at. Thankfully there is nothing broken just badly sprained so she'll just have to rest it.
Todays card is a Fathers Day card as i thought it was about time i started doing some more Man cards, not overly good with the whole Man card thing as you can't really add bling to it ;-)
The image is from the Lili of the Valley Vintage Boys pad & is called Gone Fishing, the papers are Wellington Bear papers, sentiment is from Lili of the Valleys Circular Sentiments & of course my fav La La Land Heart Banner (just goes with everything lol)
