V for Vintage at the Alphabet Challenge

Good Morning,

OMG its only 2 weeks until Christmas & as per usual I'm running behind with everything so I really need to get a wiggle on.

We do have a new challenge over at the Alphabet Challenge & we are on the letter V which this time is for 

Vintage

For my Vintage card I have used some of the lovely papers from Live & Love Crafts, they do have the most gorgeous papers & embellishments which are perfect for this kind of card.

I have cut out one of the churches from the Coming Home 12x12 paper sheet & have distressed the edges using a Tim Holtz tool & put some lovely beading around it. I saw a few of the Live & Love Crafts DT using these papers & just loved how their cards turned out so I just had to have a go. 

The Flowers are a mix of Wild Orchid Crafts & Live & Love Crafts, I have put a little bit of Gresso paint onto the flowers for that snowy look.

A is for Anything Goes

Good Morning,

Happy New year & welcome 2015. Its the 1st Jan & its challenge day again over at The ABC Challenge & the theme is a nice easy one for the new year A is for Anything goes.

For my card I have used the fab Just so Cool from All Dressed up Stamps & have coloured her up using Pro Markers & Copics.

I thought she looked to cool to even add a little embellishment so I have left her as a CAS card & I think she looks just great.

Y is for Yuletide

Good Morning,

Its challenge time again over at the ABC Challenge & the theme is Y is for Yuletide so come on show us your fab christmas makes.

For my card i have used a gorgeous image from the Paper Shelter called Holy Night I have coloured her up using Copic's & Pro Markers.

I have added some glamour dust to her hat & dotted some around the image to look like snowflakes.

The papers are from a Christmas paper pad that i bought from Hobby craft & i had completely forgotten about it until now. The papers are brilliant for the more vintage look.

I have distressed the edges of the papers with the Tim Holts distressing tool & Tea Dye distressed ink.

Good Morning,

I can't believe how warm the weather has been over the past few days it's November but feels like June, I hope it gets colder soon as I really want to see snow this year.

Right as i said it's November the 1st actually which means its challenge time over at The ABC Challenge & the theme this time is 'W is for Water' so we want to see your creations with something watery on them.
I have used the gorgeous Baby Seal Hugs from Saturated Canary & have coloured her up using Copics.

V is for Vibrant

Good Morning,

This year seems to just be flying past so i'm going to try & get a jump on Christmas in the next few days as i always seem to be flapping at the last minute.

On to today's card & it's challenge time again over at The ABC Challenge & the theme is 'V is for Vibrant'. I did find this a little hard as i'm not very good at really bold colours but hopefully i have done it justice.

I have coloured this cute owl from Oak Pond Creations up using Copic's, his name is Otis the wizard.

I was a bit scared to colour him at first as I haven't coloured a lot of animals but I am really pleased with how it turned out.

It is a lovely morning today as i am now on holiday for 2 weeks & it will be 2 weeks of just relaxing (with a touch of crafting of course)
I'm here today as it is challenge time again over at The ABC Challenge & the theme this time is Tic, Tac Toe. Nice & easy really just choose 3 squares either vertical, horizontal or diagonal & make sure those 3 things are on your project somewhere.
