Going Green

Team A are back at Creative Knockouts to bring you our inspiration for our new Challenge, our theme for this week is ...............

Go Green

so either feature the colour green on your projects or use something recycled.

(I have coloured my image mainly green & I have recycled an un-used wedding invite that I had left over from an order to make the base of the card)

I have coloured up Spells for Beginners using Copic markers & I have had a go at doing one of the techniques from the Kit & Clowder clothing class, Illuminated clothing. As this was the first time trying this I must say I was thrilled with the results.

I did have a little helper sat on me whilst I coloured in the form of my little dog Zosia. Not that she was much help as I couldn't move my left are as she had her head on it.

I have inked the edges of the wooden embellishments with walnut stain distressed ink & have added some natural jute mesh behind the image.

I have used the gorgeous Rory's Lil Unicorn & have coloured her up using Copic Markers. I have tried the Ombre look for her hair for the first time & I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

Wow Christmas is creeping up on us now with only 5 & a bit weeks to go. With that said I thought I had better get on with Christmas Card making as always I seem to be lagging lol

For my card I have used the super sweet Snow Friends. I have coloured him up with Prismacolour pencils & have added some glamour dust to the bobble on his hat

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the red berries are from Live & Love Crafts & I have added a little bit of Gresso white paint to them for that snowy look.

All of the papers are from Michelle R Designs A Traditional Christmas 12x12 Collection. I have distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz tool.
