Team A are back at Creative Knockouts to bring you our inspiration for our new Challenge, our theme for this week is ...............

Go Green

so either feature the colour green on your projects or use something recycled.

(I have coloured my image mainly green & I have recycled an un-used wedding invite that I had left over from an order to make the base of the card)

I have coloured up Spells for Beginners using Copic markers & I have had a go at doing one of the techniques from the Kit & Clowder clothing class, Illuminated clothing. As this was the first time trying this I must say I was thrilled with the results.

I did have a little helper sat on me whilst I coloured in the form of my little dog Zosia. Not that she was much help as I couldn't move my left are as she had her head on it.

I have inked the edges of the wooden embellishments with walnut stain distressed ink & have added some natural jute mesh behind the image.

I do find doing CAS cards really tricky as I always want to add just a little bit more paper or a few more embellishments.

Zoo Animals

Z for Zoo Animals

I have used the new Little Critters - Faraway Friends stamp collection from Lili of the Valley. These little stamps are so cute & perfect for the Zoo Animals theme.

I have had another go at making a shaker card & I think this one is a bit better but still needs a bit of tweaking but I will get there lol 

I have coloured all of the little critters up using Copic markers & have cut them all out. The Jumbo Wishes sentiment is also part of the Faraway Friends set.

I am using one of the newer male digi's Gentleman George & I have coloured him up using Copics. I'm really not overly good with the whole male cards as you can't really add all the frilly glittery stuff that you can with female cards.

I went out & bought one of those old fashioned label makers as i'd seen them used on a few cards recently & really liked the look they gave the cards.

I have used the funky Kidz Punky Topper & have coloured her up using Copic Markers. When I was looking at this image I thought that she needed to have different colour hair as I don't think the norm would suit her

I have added some buttons that really do match the colours that I used on the image, pure fluke I must admit. The big flower is one from my stash & the papers are from a discontinued paper pad from Lili of the Valley called Promises.

Wine O'Clock

Good Morning,

I have finally got around to putting this gorgeous Saturated Canary image onto a card. I woke up early one Saturday morning with this idea in my head, I just had to get up & colour & I am really pleased with how this turned out.

I have coloured up Wine O'clock from the Another Bunch of Digi's collection using the C colours in Copic Markers with a splash of red thrown in.

I did consider colouring her completely grey but when I sat back I thought just adding a little red would make the image pop
