Good Morning,

After having a fab holiday in Somerset it's time to get back to reality & as it's Tuesday that means challenge time over at Digi Choosday & don't forget to pop over to the main blog to get your fab discount code.

Our theme this time is 'Something New' so show us what new things you have bought or what you have learnt.

For my Something New I have made a stepper card & for me this is a very new sort of card for me. I have used Octavia Frosted Spines & Octavia Wandering Star who can be found as individual digi's Here & Here

I have coloured both up using Copic's & I have used some of the new pens that I have recently bought. I have added some glamour dust to both images for that bit of sparkle.

All of the papers & embellishments are from the Frosted Winter Collection Here where you can also find both of the images I have used along with the Polar Bear.

I have used the fab letters from the collection to spell out 'Xmas'

A full view of the inside of the card.

Glitz & Glamour

Good Morning,

I am so pleased to announce that I have been asked to join the Creative Knockouts DT. I was so thrilled to be asked after applying for their DT.

This is my first card for Creative Knockouts, It's Team A's turn & our theme is 'Glitz & Glamour'. Our Sponsor for this challenge is the fab Paper Shelter

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

For my card I have used the gorgeous & very glamorous I Won digi & have coloured her up using Copic's. The backing paper comes with the digi, I have printed it out a couple of times then cut out, distressed & layered different bits of the paper.

I have added glamour dust to her clutch bag & award as you just have to have a bit of sparkle in a challenge like this lol

The Flowers are manly from Wild Orchid Crafts with a few from my stash, I have used some stickles to add some sparkle to the flowers & there is a little diamante hiding in amongst the flowers.

Thank you for stopping by & make sure you pop over to the Creative Knockouts blog & see what the rest of the DT have come up with & we look forward to seeing what you all create.

Have a fab day

Ribbon & Lace

Good Morning,

Hopefully this post will go live when it is suppose to as I'm on holiday this week off by the sea in Somerset. If the weather is nice enough we should be having lots of lovely walks with our little puppy Zosia.

Ok on to today & as its Tuesday that means Challenge day over at Digi Choosday. Our theme for this challenge is 'Ribbon & Lace'. Remember as it's Tuesday we have a fab 33% discount code for you so you pop on over to the Digi Choosday blog & grab that code.

Sticking with Christmas as I really need to get these Christmas cards done this year. I have used one of the chalkboard sentiments from the Frosted Winter Collection as the main focus so no image from me today. All of the papers & embellishments are also from the Frosted Winter Collection that can be found Here

I have added glamour dust to the 'Merry Christmas' but unless you look really closly at the picture you can't really see it.

I have added some Snow Tex to the tress & sprinkled more glamour dust over it for that added sparkle. I will say that I did cheat with the bow as it did come off last years Christmas Crackers, I did try making a bow with some different ribbon but mine just never look right.

Thank you for stopping by & make sure you pop over to the Digi Choosday blog & see what the rest of the DT have come up with.

Hope you have a fab day

P for Pelican

Good Morning,

I am here today to share my very first card for the Alphabet Challenge, I was so thrilled when they said yes to me joining the Design Team. The Theme for this fortnight is P is for Peacock, Pelican or any other bird. So get out your feathered friends & join in this fab challenge.

I was a tad scared when I thought about colouring up a Peacock as they have so many different colours so I decided that I would go for a Pelican & I found this cute little fella. He is from ByMissRach Digital Stamps on Esty & can be found Here

I have coloured him up using Copics, distressed the edges & added some Shabby Blue Fran-tages around the image. I haven't used Fran-tage for ages & had forgotten I had it but it is fab for the vintage look.

All of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts & as he's a Pelican & lives out by the sea I have added some shells that I collected from the beach on my last trip, aren't they just so sweet?

All of the papers are from Lili of the Valleys Beach Bliss paper pad & can be found Here. I just had to use this paper pad as it fitted in with the whole beach/sea thing perfectly.

Thank you so much for popping by & make sure you stop by the Alphabet Challenge to see what the rest of the fab DT have to offer.

Hope you have a fab day

Digi Choosday goes Monochrome

Good Morning,

It's Tuesday so that means challenge time again over at Digi Choosday and out theme is 'Monochrome'. For this I decided to use brown as my colour as the brown & cream papers in the Nordic Winter Collection are to die for.

For my Monochrome card I have coloured up the Santa Digi with pencils for that more vintage look. I have added some glamour dust around & about for that added sparkle, it is a Christmas card after all.

All of the papers & embellishments are also from the Full Nordic Winter Collection that can be found Here

I have distressed the edges of the papers with the Time Holtz distressing tool & have added Vintage photo ink to the distressed edges.

For the first time in ages I have also decorated the inside of the card to mimic the outside. My husband looked at this card & has put this one in his pile of cards to give to people, I do have to say no to him on occasions as I would like some for myself.

You can see the inside a tad more in this pic

Thank you for stopping by & make sure you pop over to the Digi Choosday blog & see what the rest of the DT have come up with. As it's Tuesday don't forget it's discount day so go & grab your code & get a great bargain on these fab digi's.

A Blue Christmas

Good Morning,

Well my creativity seems to be coming back so I thought I would get out the Christmas box & have a go at something a bit different.

I really love how this turned out. I have used my Cameo to cut the shape for the base of the card, I do like the whole shaped card thing now I've made a few before I was very 'Square cards only' but I think I have been converted lol

I have coloured up Show the Way Tilda with Copic's & have added some White Fran-tage around her. I haven't coloured much lately but really enjoyed this & will be getting the pens out a lot more.

The flowers are a mix from either Wild Orchid Crafts & Live & Love Crafts. The tree dies are from Noor Designs & are so cute.

I have also decorated the inside to mimic the front.

Thank you for stopping & I hope you all have a fab day

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:

Go Shaped at Digi Choosday

Good Morning,

It's that time of the week again oh yes it's challenge time over at Digi Choosday & our theme is ........ Shaped cards. This is something that I really didn't do as I always thought cards should be either square or rectangular but after crafting for a while i found out that this simply isn't true.

For my shaped card all the elements I have used are from the Frosted Winter Collection, I have used the mug from the embellishments folder for the base of my card. I have coloured up Ice Queen & she can be found as an individual digi Here. All of the embellishments are from the full collection that can be Here.

I have coloured up Ice Queen with Copic's & Pro Markers & have added some glamour dust to her crown for that little bit of sparkle. She can be found as an individual digi Here

All of the embellishments are from the full collection that can be Here. I have been using my cameo again to cut all the flowers out, as much as i love a bit of fussy cutting after a while these flowers do get to you lol
