Use 2 Papers with Digi Choosday

Good Morning,

It's Tuesday so that must mean it Challenge day at Digi Choosday & our them this time is 'Use 2 Papers' so a nice & easy one. Make sure you pop on over to the main blog as its also Discount Day & you don't want to miss that.

For my card this week I have used the super cute Twiggy & Toots Umbrella, Rainy Days which can be found Here. 

I have coloured them up using Copics & they do look like the Little Owls that we have living in the barn. They are really sweet Little Owls but they do like to dive bomb the pets & chase them around, you wouldn't think a big cat & our dog would be frightened of such a little bird but they are lol

Both papers & embellishments have come from the full Twiggy & Toots collection which can be found Here. I have fussily cut out the flowers & layered up the middles to give them a bit more depth.

There are a couple of mushrooms & a leaf under there somewhere, they are all from the full collection as there are so many embellishments to choose from.

All about the Boys at Digi Choosday

Good Morning,

It's Tuesday so that means its Challenge day over at Digi Choosday & our theme this time is 'All about the Boys' so lets see your male cards. It's also discount day so pop on over to the Digi Choosday blog to grab your discount code.

For my boys card i have used the Pre-coloured Guitar Boy from WP8 who can be found Here. All of the papers & embellishments are from the full Work & Play 8 collection that can be found Here, 

I have also used one of the cut files from the collection to do the Rock & Roll cut out. I was very pleased that I actually managed to get my Cameo to cut this out, I only had to watch a couple of YouTube tutorials a few times and bingo there it was cutting away.

My poor husband had me running round the garden because I just had to show him what I'd got the cameo to do, it might be really basic but to me it was the best thing ever lol

Singing in the Rain

Good Morning,

After having a little break from crafting I seem to be getting back into things & thought I would share this card that I have made using London Tilda

I have coloured her up using Copics & Pro Markers, I have added a little glamour dust to the rain drops but you can't really see it in the pics which is a shame.

All the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts & after looking at my flower stash I really need to re-stock. The papers are from Lili of the Valleys Promises paper pad.

For my card I have coloured up the lovely Octavia Moonfly Wistful who can be found Here. All of the papers & flowers are from the full Octavia Moonfly Collection that can be found Here

I have coloured up Octavia Wistful using Prisma Colour pencils, I'm not really sure what look i was going for but i do think the aqua colour does make the image pop slightly. My hubby thought she looked like the tooth fairy, not sure where he got that from lol

I have used quite a few dies that I had lying around but I didn't know how bad of a crafter I was until I realised that I didn't have any punches, must sit in the naughty corner lol

Embellish it at Digi Choosday

Good Morning,

It's that fab time of the week again because it's challenge day over at Digi Choosday. Our theme this time is 'Embellish it' so get all your little pretty bits out & embellish away.

For my 'Embellish it' card I thought I would do a wedding card as I find these are the best for embellishing.

I have used the super gorgeous Bride from the Love & Kisses collection, you can find her Here. All of the papers, embellishments & coach have all come from the full Love & Kisses collection that can be found Here.

I have fussily cut out all of the embellishment & i even got my craft knife out to cut around the wheels & fiddly bits on the coach. I did manage to slice my finger in the process but that's all part of the crafting experience isn't it?

I have coloured the bride with Copic's & have added some glamour dust to the tiara & bouquet for that little bit of sparkle, I do love a bit of sparkle.

GDT at Quirky Crafts

Good Morning,

I have been asked by the lovely Cazzy at Quirky Crafts Challenge to be a GDT for this week & of course I said Yes. The Theme for this challenge is 'Quirky gone Fishing' so anything Fish or Fishing related.

For my card I have used the brilliant Fisherman, Smiley Fish & Trever stamps all from this weeks sponsor Cracker Box Palace. My Husband loves to fish so this card is perfect for him.
