In Stitches or 2 patterns at Winter Wonderland

I seem to be having a real problem with blogger today as nothing seemed to post when it was scheduled to.

Anyway it's the turn of the Icicles again over at The Winter Wonderland Challenge & we are doing things a little differently & having 2 themes per challenge to give you a bit more variety.

 So our first dual challenge is 'Stitching real or faux/Use two (or more) designer papers.  A nice easy one with lots of themes.

I have used the gorgeous Winter Frosts Papers from MR Designs, I do love these papers. I have distressed the edges using a Tim Holtz tool.

I have coloured up Mr Frosty from Wee Stamps using Copic Markers & I have coloured him to match the papers.

I thought I would try the Sepia look for this image to try & give it that real vintage feel. I have distressed the edges of the paper using a Tim Holtz tool & have added some Tea Dye distressed ink.

It's team A's turn this fortnight over at the Alphabet Challenge & we are up to the letter H. So our theme this challenge is .......

Hand Coloured Image.

I have coloured up this super sweet stamp from Little Darlings Candibean called Handpicked for Hedgey. I saw Tracy Payne from Crafteezee blog's card using this stamp & just loved it.

I have coloured this little cutie with Copic Markers & have added a blue sky background using distressed ink.

I have cut out the shape of the card on my cameo & used a verity of different dies all from Noor Designs.

Good Morning,

It's that time again over at the Art by Miran Challenge oh yes its challenge time. As usual the theme is Anything Goes

I have used the gorgeous Jazmine on this weeks card & have coloured her up using Copic Markers. 

I have used one of the techniques from this months Kit & Clowder Create & Learn class to do the background & I was really pleased with how it turned out.

I'm not usually one for green but I think it looks really nice with the pink & purple. All of the flowers are from old cards that I decided were destined for the bin so I've been recycling :)
