I have used the gorgeous Rory's Lil Unicorn & have coloured her up using Copic Markers. I have tried the Ombre look for her hair for the first time & I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

The papers I have used are from Lili of the Valleys Promises paper pad & the Promises Solid paper pad. I did buy these pads ages ago but put them away & forgot I had them. As i've recently moved to my new crafty shack i've had a sort out & found these again.

Happy Christmas Eve, only 1 more sleep till the big day is everyone excited yet?

Winter Wishes

Good Morning,

Only 2 more sleeps to go & all I have to do is wrap 1 more present & i'm finished I think anyway lol 

As I was browsing through all the blogs I saw that Art by Miran was having a DT call, I have only recently found Art by Miran images & would love the opportunity to work with them on a regular basis so I thought I would throw my hat in the ring so to speak.

I have used the super sweet Beary Sweet image, as soon as I saw this image I knew I just had to have it. I have coloured her up using Copic Markers & have added some snowtex & glamour dust for that winter sparkle.

The papers are from the Winter Wonderland paper pad & have been distressed using a Tim Holtz tool.

For my Anything Goes card I have got out the Nordic Winter collection again & have made a box frame card. I have used the Santa image & have coloured him up using pencils.

V for Vintage at the Alphabet Challenge

Good Morning,

OMG its only 2 weeks until Christmas & as per usual I'm running behind with everything so I really need to get a wiggle on.

We do have a new challenge over at the Alphabet Challenge & we are on the letter V which this time is for 

Vintage

For my Vintage card I have used some of the lovely papers from Live & Love Crafts, they do have the most gorgeous papers & embellishments which are perfect for this kind of card.

I have cut out one of the churches from the Coming Home 12x12 paper sheet & have distressed the edges using a Tim Holtz tool & put some lovely beading around it. I saw a few of the Live & Love Crafts DT using these papers & just loved how their cards turned out so I just had to have a go. 

The Flowers are a mix of Wild Orchid Crafts & Live & Love Crafts, I have put a little bit of Gresso paint onto the flowers for that snowy look.

Square Seasons Greetings

For my Anything Goes card I have used the super cute Tilda with little Snowy from the new A Lovely Christmas Collection. I have coloured her up using Distressed Markers.

I haven't got my distressed makers out for ages so it was a bit daunting at first but I think I soon got the hang of it again.
