Water Fun

Evening all,

Just thought i would share this fab little card i have made this evening using Water Fun Rio from simply betty stamps, she is a fab image & really easy to colour. Hopefully she'll make you feel summery & ready for a water fight if it ever warms up enough.

Gone Fishing

Morning,

Well i've had some fun this morning had to come out of work to take my Mum to A&E as she hurt her wrist on holiday & has only just decided to have it looked at. Thankfully there is nothing broken just badly sprained so she'll just have to rest it.
Todays card is a Fathers Day card as i thought it was about time i started doing some more Man cards, not overly good with the whole Man card thing as you can't really add bling to it ;-)
The image is from the Lili of the Valley Vintage Boys pad & is called Gone Fishing, the papers are Wellington Bear papers, sentiment is from Lili of the Valleys Circular Sentiments & of course my fav La La Land Heart Banner (just goes with everything lol)

Different Hair

Hiya me again,

As you can see i was rather busy over the bank holiday weekend & managed to get a lot of my challenge cards done. This card is for the saturated canary challenge - #44 Hair that is different, I'm not overly sure about the blue hair but as it's the first time i have tried i suppose it's not too bad. The image is called Gothica & she is a fab stamp from Saturated Canary. Spots & Stripes

Hello everyone,

Now what has happened to the weather? Yesterday we had sunshine, a tad windy but still sunny & today is like winter all over again. Thankfully I'm at work so it doesn't matter as much & it does look like it's getting better for the weekend.
OK today's card has a lovely little stamp from Lili of the Valley called Blooming Lovely, i bought this stamp at the Hobbycrafts Show & completely forgot i had it. Really glad i found this little fella as he's such a nice stamp & really quick to colour.
The papers are from my stash as is the lace, the sentiment is also Lili of the Valley from their grunge set (which i love).

Evening Everyone,

Wow this weekend has been lovely so far & for a Bank Holiday this really makes a change, second nice bank holiday weekend in a row now that the weather has been nice.
The wind has still been rather blowy so thats my excuse for staying inside crafting away, i have ventured out to take Kacey for a walk & we did get rather hot so she's been keeping me company today.
I made this card for a colleague who was leaving us last week. I have used a gorgeous Saturated Canary Image from the very talented Krista Smith, she is called 'Grow'. I have also used my fav heart banner from La La Land & some lovely lace from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Today is challenge day over at Charisma Cards, the theme is Here Comes Summer so come over & see what the DT have to offer. We can't wait to see what you all come up with as i think at the moment Summer might need a helping hand this year.

 

My card has been made using a Crafty Sentiment digi from their Manga range called Tess summer fun, i thought with the theme being Here Comes Summer that this little image was perfect. The papers are from Lili of the Valleys paper pad called Bonnets & Bowties & the sentiment is from their Happy Circular Sentiments. The Flowers are Wild Orchid & the banner is my fav La La Land Heart Banner.

Evening All,

Todays card is a little different from my normal cards as it doesn't have an image but i thought it was about time that i tried something different. The inspirarion for this card came from Simple cards & papercraft magazine, it was using their free gift of Webster's Pages paper & co-ordinating die-cuts. I love reading these magazines & getting ideas, the free gifts aren't bad either.

Oh Clara

Evening Everyone,

It has been a lovely weekend here which makes a change its usually blowing a gail but no its decided to play nicely which has been brilliant. Chris has been cracking on with making the deck so fingers crossed we might actually be able to sit out on it this summer.

Todays card has been made using a new stamp that i have bought from Visible Image called Clara, i saw her & had to have her as she is such a character. I have coloured her using my pro markers & decided to make her a bit funky by giving her blue hair. The green & yellow combo is a new thing for me as i usually go for the more blue purple colours but i thought as the sun was shinning i would think outside the box. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley's grunge set which i thought went with the whole card concept & i have also coloured this using pro markers.

Digging

Afternoon all,

Finally I've been able to get this card on here, been having some fun uploading pictures from my phone. I made this card for a friends Dads birthday as he loves gardening, as soon as she said about his love of the garden I instantly thought of this lovely image from Lili of the Valley he is called Vegetable Patch. The papers are also Lili of the Valley from their pad Country Lady, the sentiment is hand written by myself & i have distressed the outsides of the papers & image with distressed ink (new thing I've learnt)

Sunny Days

 

Morning all,

Managed to get soaked taking the dog out for a walk last night, thank you rain. Hopefully this lovely sunny card will make the sun come out. 

Today's card has been made using a Time for Tea digi called Daisy Chains, she is a lovely image to colour & very versatile. I have made quite a few cards using her. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley & the banner is the La La Land Heart Banner which i was so pleased with when i got it that it seems to pop up on a lot of my cards of late.

I've managed to have a play with my photo software & the below pic is the result, i think it gives the picture a softer look.

Up in the air

Ahh Friday which means the weekend is nearly upon us. Sadly the nice weather seems to have disappeared which is a shame but this is the great British weather so I expect nothing else.

Today's card I have gone back to my Lili of the Valley stamps as I have neglected them of late, this little fella is called 'Patchwork bunch of balloons' and is a lovely little stamp. The papers are also Lili of the Valley from their pad bonnets & bowties, the sentiment is from their grunge selection. The flowers are as always from Wild Orchid Crafts & I do need to get some more as I'm running low but with such a huge selection I do have trouble trying not to buy the shop.
I thought this card was rather bright & cheerful as i thought that spring had arrived, well for a few days anyway ;-) not sure whats happening now though.

Happy Friday to all,

It's nearly the bank hoilday weekend & for the first time in ages it looks like the weather is going to stay nice for the long weekend, yippee.
On to todays card which has a lovely Lili of the Valley image called 'Never too old for a Hug' which comes with the sentiment of the same. I think this image is so sweet & i still have a teddy that i cuddle when i'm feeling low. The Flowers & Lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the papers & dollies are from the Range.

What some lovely weather we are having, just hope it lasts over the bank holiday weekend. Chris has been out eagerly digging the garden so we can start putting this years seeds in, i say we but i mean I'll stand & point whist Chris does the work ;-)

I have used the Lili of the Valley Fairies on Tip Toe stamp & coloured with Pro Markers, around the outside i have used the Card-io Oriental blossom majestic peg stamps & i think it has framed the stamp quite well.
